After we signed our contract to rent our house, we took Abang and his family out to eat to say "thanks" for all the work he did to arrange it. He got to pick the place...and the food.
Very good...although a little too spicy for my true enjoyment. The green things you see there are a Southern classic...okra...or here "lady finger."
This was the view from the expressway as we were leaving IKEA the other day. Sorry for the glare...also sorry that unless you're in California or (we think New York) you can't enjoy the amazing shopping experience that is IKEA...It's a Swedish gift to the world of home decorating. This is Adik (what you call anyone who is a child). He is Kakak and Abang's youngest...he's cute, don't ya think?
And this is a little language ditty for you all back home...watch and be amazed. 1st one to guess what I'm saying before I pick up and name the dolls wins a free night in our guest bedroom. (To win, participants must not know the language of Bahasa...and if you speak it, don't ruin it for everyone else by saying what I said...cuz that's just not cool)

it's gonna be a little freakin hard because I don't see no picture. Dang dem some tall trees!!!
So what do you mean by that? I'm sorry if you 'don't see no picture.' So is your guess at what I'm saying "Dang dem some tall trees!!" ??? If so, you're wrong.
Hey, Babe! I have no idea what you're saying... unless maybe: "Which of these small baby dolls should I choose to have a tea party with? This one, this one, this one, this one, or this one?"... just me whistling in the dark. I love reading y`all`s updates. Was terribly sad to hear about your grandma and have been yarping for all of y`all double-duty ever since. I`m happy y`all have Carrefour. I find that bizarre because we have them here also... just not in my city yet. I guess the French are everywhere in the world, huh! Hugs! Sarita=)
Well . . . is it true what mamakoo thinks you are saying? I went back and watched the video over and over AND OVER. This would be a novel way of letting us know ( : I noticed there wasn't a reply to her comment to dispel any notion. Anthony, Sharon . . . ??? P.S. You did sound great Sharon!! Love, mamalou
To answer "mamalou" and dispel any possible rumors inadvertly spurred by "mamakoo" - mamakoo did get some words right, but the wedding part is wrong... and Sharon said nothing about pregnancy (sorry Mom, no gkids on our side yet)... keep guessing!
Sharon- Yo we're totally trying to copy you with the youtube thing but we can't get ours to play. Email me and let me know what the dealy-o is. franks
well there ya have it folks...our blog has reached international fame...Columbia, Miami, Middle East, and Asia...I guess only the Aussie's are still in the dark. Maybe we can vacation there without getting swarmed by fans.
Hey Anthony & Sharon,
We are glad you all are doing well. Sharon, you are quite the linguist now aren't you? We love the picture of the food dish you all had. We have had some similar items served up here. As far as the wadi goes, we can't take our camera to the cave because we have to swim to get there. Maybe we will find a waterproof throw-away somewhere. We love you guys. Keep on keeping on!
Hey,
It was so good to hear from you! Your pictures are great. I just added an up date to my blog. I hope you enjoy! Your in my thoughts, Blythe
