Where in the world???

Here are the places Anthony and I have traveled to. I must say that this little map was a bit humbling as I consider myself "well-traveled." (although there are small islands and countries in the Caribbean that don't take up much room, but are worthy destinations and offer loads of culture to experience)

The amount of red on the map will obviously increase since we're moving to Southeast Asia. We're hoping to do some traveling in the area on vacations and what not, but that still leaves like 4 continents untouched. Where would I go if I had my choice? Good question...

While watching our travel show "Globe Trekker" last night on PBS, the traveler was in the Arab Gulf States of Kuwait, U.A.E., and Oman. Our brother-in-law Greg has been to Dubai, U.A.E. with the US Navy and really liked it. The glitzy cities of the UAE, the dune bashing in Oman, plus the trek down the Wadi Bani Khalid (you swim and hike down the wadi and it looked spectacular!), the shopping, and culture are enough enticement for me. I wish the map had like a green color that could shade the areas you WANT to travel to. Where have you been? Where do you want to go?

Um...so why don't I have detailed memory of any trips my BFF took to Europe!?!? Was it pre-Sharon? It has to be...either that, or I need to go see a neurologist.
And, folks, my best friend has also failed to mention that she plans on making the trip over the Pacific to see me as well (must have slipped her mind:) happens when she starts thinkin' in Spanish.

When I first read that title, the first thing I thought (and forgot to tell you before) was: Where in the World is Carmen Sandiago?? And then the song popped in my head and it was all over for the day...

I guess I didn't list the countries did I? (in chronological order) The US, Belize, Bahamas, Trinidad&Tobago, Thailand, Mexico, Cayman Islands, Jamaica, Malaysia, and Singapore.
And I apologize to all Black Europeans on behalf of my friend Meagan...she's just a skinny little white girl that has dreams of the dark continent...she knows you live there, and trust me, she does love you.
