I thought a Haiku had to be 5/7/5...

I gagged a little when I came to the waffle pic.

Love the butterflies, though! sweet!

I thought so too until I Wikipedia-d it just to refresh my Haiku skills. "Hakku" is what the 5-7-5 form is called and is one of the most popular English-form Hakku's. As long as the whole thing is under 17 syllables it's a Haiku. Also in the Japanese they usually try to include an exclamation of some sort.

How were the butterflies a Fail? They look awesome!

It's "Butterflies (PERIOD) Fail (PERIOD" not "Butterflies (COMMA) Fail"
They weren't a fail!
But I wish I would have taken a picture of those sliced potato baked things...that was fail among failures for sure!

I love the look of deep concentration on their faces. So adorable. Can't wait to be there soon and Aunt Cara can play too!

Ok....that fail was MY fail was it not? That was the Highlands Pancake mix in the waffle iron debacle from a 8.5 month pregnant woman. Thanks for the shout out! :) - Miss you! DeAnna
