Snug as Leg in a Sock

Ok, so I realize there's no Christmas post....but we didn't get a lot of super good pictures on Christmas day...and we all know blogs aren't interesting without pictures. But Christmas was good and it was super fun having 2-boys. (For a Christmas post click HERE) Last Christmas we knew we'd adopt, but we didn't know if we'd have another child by Christmas 2009. Woohoo!

Back to the blog.
I sewed some babylegs the other day.
These are babylegs (just so you know I'm not making this up)

I found this pattern online and made my own for about $1.50!

Babylegs are handy for just laying around the house...
1. slide them down to the ankles for easy diaper changing
2. wear them as a less bulky layer under clothes for warmth
3. wear them as extra sleeves under short sleeve shirts
4. for girls, (and if they're long enough) could wear them as leggings

If you click on the pattern link above, the woman gives quick clear instructions if you'd like to make some yourself... so I'll just post my pictures... :)

I have never wanted to sew - until now. haha You did a great job picking out material that looked extremely boyish! Zay looks SUPER cute in them!! Don't you just wanna eat up their chubby legs in those?

Awesome!! That's a heck of a lot better than $12 online! We love us some babylegs. They are super life savers (or maybe knee savers) when these babies start ooching around. Eden lived in hers on those dreaded tiled floors in Chiner...I imagine Salem will too!
